Even if your child does not struggle with learning you might find a fun activity that he would enjoy.
Sometimes we don't teach at home because of the time we think that it takes. Homeschooling should only take a couple of hours when you write a daily schedule.
It is also important to organize. When you have a place for everything and everything is in its place you can save time.
Organizing can also save you money. I have bought notebooks when I could not find any in the house. Then later cleaned out a closet only to find notebooks.
Also get your children involved in chores. You should not be responsible for washing the dishes, feeding the pet, sweeping the floor, and teaching school. Let your children help with the chores. They need to have some responsibility.
What will you do with all of the time you save scheduling and organizing? You will have time for socialization. You will be able to go out into the community to volunteer your time at food banks and retirement homes. You will also have time for fun
